Thanks to our caregivers

In those sanitary war times, the heroes aren't the same as usual. The protagonists of today are the caregivers and the workers in the medical world. Most people spoke about them but even if they are doing a huge job, lots of other people which continue to work to relieve the measures that many people aren’t able to undergo. And so we wanted to thank everyone that is taking part in this battle against one of the biggest and destructive virus that the world has ever undergone for a long time. We hardly support people and families touched by this major calamity. Then we are proud of our caregivers, they risk their lives each second to save others lives and the lives of thousands of people.

Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Strong

Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Strong.

A slogan that's widely broadcast these days. And it applies to us too.

Stay Home : that's the most important part. The less you go outside and meet other people, the safer you are. And the safer they are too. Avoid contact with other people, stay with your family.

Stay Safe : I hope that you're all feeling well and that nobody's sick. If it's the case, don't take any risks. Apply the government's reccomendations.

Stay Strong : I know it may sometimes be difficult, being confined, having to stay home, far from your friends, girlfriend or boyfriend, family, but you have to resist the urge to go and meet them. Call them, chat with them. But don't go out to meet them.

What is KIT ?

Hi guys !

And welcome to KIT (Keep in Touch).

These pages are for you, so that you can write and read about everyone's feelings in these troubled times. You can submit articles to this blog using my email address.

We are confined, and sometimes far from our friends, teachers and classmates, but maybe it's an opportunity to get to know eachother a little better.

Tell us about your feelings, about your daily life these days, about what you'd like to do when all this is over. About anything you'd like to share !

It can be a short message or a long text. You can write it, sing it, draw it, ...

You know what ? Let me start !

This is me, at my desk (and yeah, it's almost as messy as the other one I have in classroom 508), and that's where I got this idea. And as you can see on the photo, I'm in my slippers. One of the advantages of teleworking ! I was reading your emails, correcting your homework, preparing new lessons and exercises to put online, but it felt a bit strange.

I didn't think so before, but I know it now : I need to be with you. You're an important part of my life, colleagues, pupils. We spend time together, we sometimes share a laugh, and that's one of the things I miss the most. And as my wife's teleworking too, I can't use our only computer whenever I want, so it's not easy for me to chat online.

So that's why I had this idea : I want to hear from you. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm sure you call your closest friends every now and then, but I'm also sure some other classmates or teachers would like to know how you're doing. So just tell them !
