Applauding the hospital staffs

Hey,

I hope everyone is doing well and that you are not bored too much. For my part, I make up for boredom by doing a little sport every day (30 min), my homework, I sleep very often if I must be absolutely honest, I applaude every evening at 8 p.m...

I try to call friends, family to hear from them and talk to outside people. It's true that is not easy in everyday life to be locked but it's necessary to relativize saying it's for our good and to save a lot of people by staying inside.

You have to think of all these people who are fighting against coronavirus whether they are the victims or professionals like doctors, nurses but also the people who put themselves in danger so that we can always get access to food, medications...

So please stay home !

I wish you a very nice day and see you soon :)

Clara coping with containment

To begin with, when I learnt we couldn't go out or see our friends or go to school or even have fun, I was pretty sad because it seemed difficult and I didn't want to accept the situation.

But today, television is still reporting deaths caused by the virus, so there is no doubt we had to accept lockdown because I am now reassured that my family and I are safe from this disease.

Then, with my family, we take care of ourselves as we can at home. We have a garden which enables us to enjoy the good weather so far  and vary daily activities . We laugh, we listen to music, we try to tan and surprisingly we get along properly.

For my part, in order to pass the time, I take care of myself, I do the required homework, I keep in touch with my friends  and I do a lot of sport at home which enables me to let off steam as much as I can.

My mood depends on the days, sometimes I am happy when I have a productive day and other times I am upset about not being able to go out and do the things I usually do every day, but in the face of the situation, I can  understand the decision of this lockdown.

Keeping in touch with my family not living with me is the most important thing we do during this lockdown.

Finally, today, I have a huge admiration for the people who are dealing with the virus every day to save people who are sick, because they are putting their lives at risk to try to help people get by, that is why they all deserve a big thank you but above all a great support from us.

Thanks to our caregivers

In those sanitary war times, the heroes aren't the same as usual. The protagonists of today are the caregivers and the workers in the medical world. Most people spoke about them but even if they are doing a huge job, lots of other people which continue to work to relieve the measures that many people aren’t able to undergo. And so we wanted to thank everyone that is taking part in this battle against one of the biggest and destructive virus that the world has ever undergone for a long time. We hardly support people and families touched by this major calamity. Then we are proud of our caregivers, they risk their lives each second to save others lives and the lives of thousands of people.

Li-Lou's adjustiements to confinement

Hello l'm li-lou, I will tell you how I live this confinement.

To be honest, I don't live it very well because I am a person who always needs to move, to see people and all year long I have a very busy schedule.

Nevertheless after days of confinement, I said to myself if I can't go out or anything, I will be careful about what I do and since this resolution, I am much less bored and my days are still very busy.

With this confinement, you can do more sport, spend more time with your family and take care of yourself. I think that this confinement will have been beneficial to me, It allowed me to slow down my rhythm of life and to go back to basics.

RĂ©my's routine

During confinement against Covid 19, I admit that I am very bored.
When I wake up it is around noon. After eating a little something I watch netflix. Right now I'm looking forward to the new season of La Casa de Papel and I also watch Narcos.

After my mother goes to work, she is a caregiver and i am alone at home because my father goes running. I turn on my pc and I don't leave it anymore. I play a lot of GTA RP, Apex legend, Fortnite, Osu or Rocket League, it depends.

Then after, around 7:30 pm I eat and my mother comes back around 10 p.m. she is always tired so she goes to sleep. I try to watch the homework from time to time and after I play until 1 AM and i watch netflix until 3 AM.

Tom's Life during Containment

At the beginning of the containment, I was not very happy. I was thinking of my friends, wondering how we would manage to follow our studies.

And after some days, I start to getting used to this kind of weird situation. It is a bit difficult to take the rhythm for the
homeworks because when you are at home, you think that you have time and finally you postpone everything to the next day.

Personally I try to get up early in the morning, because I feel more productive for doing homeworks. And in the afternoon, I
give up the homeworks and I dedicate my time to other things. For example, at the moment I am learning the piano and guitar and I play video games more than before.

There is a problem, when I go at my desk and open my book, I raise my head and I see my computer, and suddenly I want to watch netflix or play
counter-strike. When you are at school, you don’t have this type of issue.

But in fact I find more advantages in containment, because you can do your own timetable, and I feel more responsible,
and dedicate more time to other things like music and so on.

I’m afraid of getting too used to this period, I hope I will take the rhythm of school easily, when all of that is over.

There are so much things that I miss :

- Parties with friends
- Concerts
- Restaurants
- Going out

I hope the medical situation in France will improve fastly. And in that way we will be able to carry on normally with our lives.

See you soon for a new episode of KIP and take care of yourself !

Bastien's Struggle with the ENT

During this period of quarantine, I haven't changed much about my typical day during the school vacation...

I practice indoor sports, such as cross training and ping-pong. I play video game with my friends on Internet and I do my homeworks ...

... When I manage to connect to the "ENT", I download the homeworks on my computer to share it with my friends (this is an uncommon situation because many persons are on the ENT).

Lock down : really boring ?

Lock down. A lot of people see it like an enemy, of a deep bore. And if we visualize it
differently. Let’s do a list of pleasant things with lock down :

• We increase our creativity: when we get bored, we imagine, we create. You think you are doing nothing but your brain doesn’t cease to work and to transform all things into other things.

• We can improve ourselves: you like music, play an instrument that you have or make your voice heard by all of your house. You like drawing, sketch some new landscapes and fabulous characters. You love watching series, awesome you will be bilingual by the end of lock down if you watch them in the original language with subtitles.

  • We talk more with our family: when we are locked up with some people we have to talk a
minimum with them.

• We have more time for us : you want to try new hairstyles, new makeups, new outfits, do it ! You can even organise a fashion show in your bedroom.

• We can cook a lot of good dishes: you could do only pasta, now you will be able to have a restaurant with all the recipes you will learn.

• We can procrastinate without feeling guilty: you have to tidy your bedroom but now you are too busy doing nothing, no problem you can do it tomorrow without saying yourself that maybe you will not have the time tomorrow.

That’s only a small list of what you can do but you can complete it with your favorite activity (play video games, dance …). While you stay home, you don’t put in danger others and yourself, you’re free to do what you want.
